SAUK COUNTY, Wisconsin — Six people — five adults and one child — were killed when a small aircraft went down late Tuesday night in the Town of Dellona, Sauk County, Wisconsin, authorities confirmed early Wednesday morning.

The Sauk County Sheriff's Office said the dispatch center received multiple reports of a downed aircraft near Park Lane at approximately 9:31 p.m. on October 13. When deputies reached the area, neighbors were already searching for the crash site after hearing a loud impact and spotting what they believed was a low-flying aircraft.

First responders located the wreckage and confirmed multiple fatalities at the scene. The sheriff's office was assisted by the Lake Delton Police Department, Delton Fire Department, Dells/Delton EMS, the Sauk County Coroner's Office, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
